female covered hole no eggs

chamgranny Apr 05, 2007 07:44 AM

My female veiled dug a hole. She was in the hole for a couple of days. She completely covered the hole up. I been digging in the container no eggs. This is her 3rd clutch of eggs. She has never done that before. I am afraid she will become egg bound. What can I do to make her lay the eggs. This container I have always used for my females to lay their eggs in. It is a tall rubbermaid round tote with handles.

The only time I have seen or heard of a veiled doing this is when she's eggbound. I would take her to the vets.

Thanks I will call my vet asap. She has laid 2 fertile clutches and one infertile clutch with no problem. I do not know why she is having problems this time.

How's the chameleon? Did you take her to the vets? If so, what did they say/do?

Hi , I called my vet and he said to put her back in the chamber as long as she is eating well then I do not have to worry. She is still eating very good. He said if she has not dropped them by Tuesday then I might need to bring her in.
