Hybrid genetics

BeattyReptiles Apr 05, 2007 01:30 PM

Just a few things I've learned the past few years breeding hybrids.....

The anery A. gene in corns is compatible with the Anery gene in hondurans. I crossed a het anery honduran to a het Anery A. corn and got anery corndurans!

The albino gene in San Diego gophers is compatible with the amel gene in corns. Albino striped S.D. gopher crossed to amel corn and I got all amel gopher corns!

I've discovered several other VERY interesting compatible genes as well but I can't give away all my secrets!
