For the last 30 years Judy has been part of the Big Bend landscape wandering hundreds of miles on her donkey sleeping under the stars in the desert. She closed her eyes for the last time a few months ago. As far as I know I had the only pictures of her. The kingsnake forum wanted a pic but since it is also Bogertophis habitat a pic is in order. I will miss her she added color to the desert like no other. She made the actors on survivor look like kids at a park.

Beautiful...I did not know her, but I can see the splendor of natural simplicity in that photo. The world needs more naturalist heroes. I can venture she would be humbly proud that she was yours...
