Ball Python attacks Dog!

My dogs are usually with me while I'm working in the reptile room so they get pretty curious and comfortable around all of them. Thought you guys would like the pics

Don't worry.....I don't try this with the Burms!

Its funny you posted this because my dog is always around my bp without problems and then today my bp tr4ied to gbab him by the nose i pulled her back (i was already holding her) and she missed rebels nose by inches. Needless to say ill be more aware from now on when i have them both around me.

You are right Roxy is very smart but she is still learning "her manners". I have heard it can take a couple years for them to start fully behaving. whoops I guess we are getting off track for this forum....

You're right he does look a little tentative in that picture. But if either the dog or the snake were acting scared I wouldn't have pushed the issue. It is always the dogs that get curious so if the reptiles are not big or aggressive i let them interact a little.

Here he doesn't look as nervous when he's following tortoises around the yard....
