Peter,

This is EXTREMELY exciting! Peter I hope you don’t mind me giving some background here. Please correct me where ever I might be wrong. I knew about these "jungle" boas that came out of the CA Motley x Gee line CA Hypo a couple years ago. Since day 1 Peter was determined to prove them genetic. A couple years later….BAAM!!! Here they are!!!! CA "Jungle" Boas!!!

***please allow me to call them CA Jungles for the time being until Peter coins a name for them***

It is just amazing to me that they originated from a Hypo to a MOTLEY breeding!!! The CA Motley he originally used was a male I sold him back in 2001. It was a male from the FIRST Ca Motleys I had imported in 2001.

Arg, I wanna type more but I have a meeting I have to get too.

Congrats Peter!!! You fully deserve this and I’m very excited about this new avenue you’ve proven out for the CA Morphs!!!

Hey Alex, have you seen any results with the reverse stripes you produced along side your CA Motleys?

BoaRepublic Apr 06, 2007 01:24 PM

Well...

the last CA Motley litter I produced was in 2005 which got me fully reverse striped Motleys AND normals. Most of them that were reverse striped were to the EXTREME.

This year, I should be expecting CA Motleys Supers, however I did not use any animals that were Reverse Striped BUT...there are 2 animals involved from my original 2001 CA Motley group. UI guess we'll see if I get any reverse stripes from that.

Next year I will have a few reverse striped Motleys AND normals I will be breeding. I have plans to breed them all to totally unrelated animals that are NOT reverse striped...so I guess we'll see what comes out of that?

What I can say is...all the reverse striped animals are awesome. Even the normals. They're beautiful!!

All the best!!
