You must first upload the photo to the internet. If you don't have a website or some kind of account (like AOL or photobucket) that allows you to upload photos to the web you can register for Kingsnakes Photo Gallery (link at the top of the page).

Once you've gotten the picture uploaded you can put it in your message three ways:

Right click the image and get the properties - you'll want to copy the location or URL if you have a photobucket account the url will appear under your picture.

1. Type or paste the URL between [ img ] [/img ] (take out all the spaces)

2. Type in or paste the URL where it says "Image URL" at the bottom of the message screen.

3. If you use Kingsnakes photo gallery - you can select it from a drop down menu of the photos you have in the gallery (found on the message window). By holding down the CTRL key, you can select up to three photos.

You must have that document saved to your computer just for ease of posting everytime this question gets asked. Haha, you beat me to the punch, but I used an example =P

Happy Easter!

i tried uploading to kingsnake but it says file too big and to resize. how do you resize

toshamc Apr 09, 2007 04:50 PM

LOL - Hang in there - Once you get the first one loaded you'll be amazed at how easy it is.

It's likely that whatever program you have on your computer to download/view your photos on your computer will also have some way to resize them. Sorry depending on what program you have it's kind of hard to give further direction. Keep in mind the max size you can upload to Kingsnakes gallery is 1200 x 1028 pixels & 450kb

I hate photobucket =P Pics never seem to show up for me on this computer.

But it does work for most, so go ahead and use it, or sharemyalbums.com, or kingsnake's own server.

You need to upload your photos to a web-based application, such as one of those sites. Then, doen bottom here, where it says "Image URL" you would copy in the link of the photo you want to use.

For instance, if I had a photo named Snake1 at myphotos.com then the link might look something like this www.myphotos.com/Snake1. Just copy it from the image's address bar and post it down below. *Tip*: it may be easier and less frustrating to pull off if you have 2 windows open. 1 in kingsnake, and 1 with your photo.

Feel free to ask me any more questions.
