My 8 foot male Indian python look's like a grumpy old man?
The scale under his chine on either side of his mouth seem to be slightly longer than they should be (so it seem's)
This gives him the grumpy old man look or the look of the droopy lip's on a bull-dog, lol.
They don't appear to cause him any problem apart from getting the odd bit of substrate stuck to his moist inner lip, but will rub this off.

I have seen it- not sure what its caused from. I was thinking it may have been an over-sized meal that streched the lips out.... I may be way off- but that seems logical to me, but so do lots of things....

Yea, I seen that before. It happens to my albino burm same thing substrate gets stuck there but she gets it out after awhile. I find that if I soak her it not only gets the substrate out but it also seems to make it go away. I think it has something to do with moisture in the mouth or on the lip region. But that works for me, good luck.

This happens from mouth rubbing and substrate in the mouth. Open its mouth from the side with your finger or with a probe and see if you can fish it out. I've had to do this with my rock python and she doesnt mind a bit.
