What is the difference between granite spotted and normal spotted pythons? What would be the outcome of breeding the two? Are they considered different subspecies at all?
Do a web search for Granite Spotted Python and you'll see a big difference in the spots. Many more of them and quite a bit smaller than the spots of "normals". Same species, just a pattern morph. I understand it's a het trait so breeding a granite to a normal together would give you normals, het for the granite pattern. If you breed 2 of those siblings together you would get some granites in the clutch, the same if you bred a het baby back to the granite adult.
