I just went to a mailing office one of those packing stores to check on having a snake shipped via Fed Ex. She called her fed ex conection and was told they don't ship reptiles. I know I've seen posts about people shipping Fed Ex. Was this just a snake phobic clerk giving her personal opinion or do people ship and not say what is in the box? The lady did say UPS will ship next day for 35-40 $ does this sound right? Buddy.

Buddy, you have to go through the process of being "certified" by FedEx and they will test a sample box as well during this process. Once that is done (it took me about a week and a half to 2 weeks) and you're approved, you're supposed to ship business to business or to a "FedEx staffed facility" only. I know others will ship door to door but that really is in violation of their rules if you were to follow them word for word.
Most times a small box costs between $35. to $50. with them.
Anyway, you can get certified to legally ship with FedEx.
