Could this be an ovulation????

danktat Apr 07, 2007 02:57 AM

OK. Here's the deal. I separated Hercules and Pandora for a feed the day before yesterday. Pandora had an XL rat. She looked thicker but it didn't leave a really noticible lump from what I saw. Then yesterday I took this pic (use this as a reference):

Then tonight I noticed this....definately looks bigger than in that last pic (even though it is from a different angle)

And to top it all off this is what she was doing when I noticed it

What do you all think? If I hadn't fed her a couple of days ago there would be no doubt in my mind what this is but that feed makes me wonder. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks

Doesn't look like it to me at a glance but there is a good description of the ovulation process and the details of how to identify it. If you like read this and look for the symptoms described to help identify if in fact you had an ovulation or not. Article

Ovulation is not a moment in time but a process that takes many hours or even days. This process can be observed and identified. The article above may help. I know after figuring out how this whole thing takes place, it really helped me a lot. Took a load off.

Good luck!
