I'm thinking about getting a blizzard, probably at the Kansas City show next month. Was wondering what y'all thought of yours. Any difference in the way they should be kept? Health or breeding problems?

Most blizzards, in fact all of mine, are overly aggressive or at least so nervous your not able to handle them, even at a sub-adult, adult gecko. I know a few people here have tame blizzards, but there are also people here with agressive blizzards and even hets.

would that be aggresive towards me, or aggesive towards other geckos (or both)? Thanks.
I don't get why blizzard would be an more agressive and other leos?

Some people believe some morphs affect more then just appearance by altering a certain genes, It used to be believed that all morphs were essentially unhealthy things but this theory has been almost entirely disproven. The only morph to my knowledge that has been proven to affect more than appearance is the bloodred cornsnake, They for some reason seem to have weakened immune systems and in general have a shorter life expectancy then other corns because they are more prone to certain diseases. There is also much debate over whether the buttercorn is the calmest or most aggressive of the cornsnakes but such a wide spectrum of opinion seems to indicate it depends more on the individual animal.
My blizzard was aggressive when I got her as a baby but she is now as calm as the other girls. She hissed at me everynow and then as a baby, and even bit my brother
but now she doesn't do either of these things.
She never had a problem with other geckos though. Never has been aggressive w/ them.

ps. does she have a name on the forum>
Golden Gate Gex rocks and she has an awesome bliz male, did you see him when your were there? she is saving one of his babies for me.
My Blizzards as hatchlings have been aggressive but my adult Male Caine is gorgeous and quite tame. I took the hands off approach with him until he reached adulthood. Then I started handling him. He's actually quite mellow now..eats from my fingers while my 2 Juvie Blizzards are quite agressive still. But, they also tend to be agressive feeders as well and I have yet to have one refuse food unlike 2 of my Hets who are finicky.
