Jacksons walking on ground...

funnyman527 Apr 07, 2007 07:27 PM

I've noticed that a couple of my friends' Jacksons seemingly enjoy climbing around on the ground of their habitat and will sometimes hang out and rest there. I was jsut curious if anyone else has witnessed similar behavior from their Jacksons.

Thx,

~Eric~

What is the basking temperature in the cage? Ambient? Perhaps they are going down there to cool off?

My jackson like to sit on the pot even when the weather is cool. He does this usally if there is wind. Another things i noticed is that he hangs around the bottom of the plant near the soil when he is hungry. I think he has learned that i dump the cricket sin the base of the pot so he waits for them.

Jacksons usally dont like walking. But i do remmeber that during summer i let my jackson sit in a plant in my room (no cage) and he would love to climb down and explore on he bed, the carpet all over the place.
