Whats a good feeding schedule to follow for uros? Some say they feed sparingly in wild. Some say feeding everyday causes obesity. Soooo every other day? Thats what i have been doing and it seems to work however on the day i feed the kids they seem to act as if missing a day was chinese torture. I....I think my yellow niger gave me the finger the other day.

As long as you aren't feeding them lots of heavy foods like peas and lentils, they shouldn't get overweight. Feed them daily, and if you miss a day here and there, the world won't end.

I have always read that food should always be supplied at all times. Just should not be an over abundance of food. Some greens and some veggies. I also spread my greens around the tank and he does get lentils every so often.

This is my uro, and he is as healthy as ever!
