lizardman Apr 07, 2007 09:56 PM

Does anyone know if the tsunami that recently hit the Solomon Islands is detrimentally affecting the Prehensile-Tailed Skinks ??

Lizardman, I think it is very unlikely that the tsunami had any impact on the population of Corucia in the Solomons. Corucia only inhabit trees in primary(virgin) forests present at the higher elevations of the Solomons. It seems like the tsunami only impacted the coastal regions of the Solomons and neighboring islands. Josh

Thanks for the update, Josh. I wasn't sure if they ranged near the coastal portion of the islands.
