they used them for night heating .
i would say dont used them i think they can see the ultra red violet beems.
also it make can take them out ritme .
i only would use a ceramic heater if the night temps drop below the 50.
they like a cooler night warmer ngiht is not so good either.
i dunno why but i saw many times on forum if they used a red light the beardie got sleepy and out of bioritme.

I have used cheap redlight and then expensive ones. The expensive ones put out very little light. When turned on you don't notice them lighting up the cage at all. I only use these now, and only on my green tree python in the winter. don't want him to get sick. injections for a ri would be he11.
