best way to heat the pond water

Hi all I am new Here I am not a croc keeper yet but I am in the middle of setting up my enclosure I am planning on getting a Osteolaemus Tetraspis ( dwarf crocodile ) and I am having trouble with the best way to heat the pond water also I must ad that I live in the UK also is a external pump beater than a in pond pump

There are a few different ways to do this. I have some large ponds that I have to control the heat of. I use a water heater attached to my filter system of each pond. The heater is an tankless heater and runs off of ntaural gas. As the water flows through, it is heated to a preset temp and only operates when water runs through it.

Outdoors I have used wood stoves with copper coils around them. The coils being attached to the filter system. Of course the heat transfers but you can't control the heat.
