Mazuri Tortoise Food for sulcata's

I have heard that many people use this, is this true? is it reccomended? How much at a time and how often? I was wondering because I have 2 8" sulcatas and wanted to add something else to their current variety

I use it for my hatchling and my 5 incher. Havent noticed any new pyramiding. I mix between 50/50 grass/mazuri to 75/25 grass/mazuri with calcium sprinkled on top. I mash it all up with the grass so there really is no big chunks of mazuri left.
