Hey, me and my dad gonna build a 5' 2' 2' screen cage for my juvie and adult BD. He is a wood worker so i should have a problem there in a 3' 2' 2' right now =(. I know i know i've been looking for a better cage. So we decided to start building a 5' 2' 2' cage. Could this house 2 adult bearded dragons well? Thanks!

I think that would be ok... Mine are housed in 5x2x2 homemade glass tanks

go for 6 x 2 x 2 did you mean you are going to house your juvi and adult together? they should be very close in weight and size to house 2 dragons together, 2 adult females would be fine in that enclosure providing they got along alright, 2 adult males would not be fine, an adult male and adult female would also not work for the stress on the female if the male is breeding her all the time, besides that youll have baby dragons, not sure you want that.

I have housed my Female juvie and male together. They get along very well. 1 doesnt hog all the food and they are usually both full. Im not trying to breed them until the female is large enough they both eat very well and are healthy. If i dont cool them the wont try to breed will they? maybe I'll just put the juvie in the 40 gallon breeder and put the adult in the 5 foot tank, until the female is large enough and i actually want to breed them? I am prepared for babys. I have many extra 20 gallon glass tanks. Tell me if this would work thx!

I would suggest housing them alone for now. Dragons don't "have to" go through a cooling period for them to breed. If you house them alone, at least you make sure she is ready to be bred and that it doesn't happen too soon.

no matter if she is ready or not, you should seperate them as soon as possible

Just seeing if I understand this right. Two females can be house together, but a male should always be housed alone? What about in breeding trios? Is the male house separately?
