UGH! Didn't realize this was the same guy that posted that a while back. Glad you caught it.. I would take extra special care of that little lady if I were you!
>>Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it you who asked me if they were OK to breed about 3 weeks ago? I had you give me their weights, and lengths, and age. I thought at that time I told you she needed to put on more weight, about 100 grams more weight to be safe, cause breeding under 400 for some dragons could be dangerous. I told you I personally would get my females above 550 grams just to be extra safe (mine are large and this is easy for me), but with some females small frames 425-450 could do for a smaller adult female say 16 inches long, and extra healthy all year long. Well, I see you didn't get any other opinions you went ahead and stuck them together, and now have a 350 gram dragon two weeks gravid. I also told you if you were to put them together do not leave them alone!! Cause the female can get hurt cause males are aggressive when it comes to breeding. I went back and checked the archives to find out you left the male and female alone. You came down stairs and caught the male attacking your female with her arms flailing around. I warned you she might double clutch and this is why the extra weight is good. After the first clutch is laid some females cannot put on the needed weight, and store the needed nutrients before the next is ready to be laid. So she's just around 355 now gravid, she will lay, drain herself of calcium, and nutrients and be expected to put on weight and store nutrients for the next clutch she will lay in 3 weeks. You see there is just not enough time between laying. If I was you I would purchase some silk, Goliath, and wax worms and extra supplement her with calcium and d3, and a multi vitamin, and try your hardest to add extra weight and nutrients to her diet before laying. When she gets close to the time to lay, not all but most will stop eating a week before. This is even lessening the time you have to get her nutrient levels up. Why didn't you wait for a more experienced breeder back then when I answered you, and asked you to get another opinion from an experienced breeder before you bred, because I felt your female was under weight to breed to the best of her ability? Are you one of those people who will ask the same questions over and over and just wait for someone to say it's OK? Sorry if this offends you, but you ask the same questions over, and over again and seems like you wait for someone to tell you what you want to hear. Anyway I truly wish you luck with this. I just hope you would realize that there are people here looking out for the dragons health number 1 and not what's in your best interest. We do care, and want to help by telling you to do the right thing. I wish you would have asked for a second opinion about her weight like I asked you too. Now it's to late and all you can do is worry and well. that just sucks. GTood Luck I hope it works out for you. I hope you have everything your going to need for 60 plus hatchlings.
