I received what I thought to be a timor monitor from a reputable breeder at a reptile show. He is currently about 18 inches from snout to end of tail, so not an adult yet. However, from what I've seen of timor pics, he looks almost nothing like them. I'm wondering from you experienced monitor people, is he a timor monitor and if not, what is he? I have read up on the timor monitor caresheet, but just have to know, in case he is something else.

Okay, nevermind. He is definitely a timor monitor. I found photos of one that looks like him somewhere else. Thanks anyway!

The Timors are a complex of some variable looking monitors as you are figuring out.
