man is it just me or have all of you been experiencing instantaneous lock up upon introduction of male to females? My yellow male is really displaying aggressive breeding habits...actually biting the females which he's never done in the past. I used 3 different males this year on four different females so I've got my fingers crossed. All girls appear to be carrying a tummy full of eggs and are swollen. Only time will tell if the fertility is there or not.

i am still waiting for my female to shed. she didnt wanna breed before i am hoping once she sheds she will be ready.

I've got 6 females and I've witnessed 4 lockups but I suspect all of my females are now bred. The two that I did not witness have spent plenty of time together. Yes........... time will tell.

She ate two pinks the day after I got her but then regurged 1 of them. Then she skipped a meal but then ate a fuzzy the day before yesterday. She's doing fine. I'll just give her one at a time in the future.
Uuuuuugly Betty on the other hand ate 3 pinks then shed. She skipped the last meal. I'll try her again in a few days.

feed them alot and that will change quickly. Eventually the ladies will give in.
Congrats Russ! Lucky you to have your girls filled up already. I've only had one lock-up so far this year, but not with Thayeri. They should go next year.
