My mother found this lizard on her kitchen floor. We have NO clue what it is, and we can't manage to figure anything out, what it eats, what we should do with it, etc... any help would be greatly appreciated...

Oh, and its about an inch long. And not found on the Iowa Herpatology site, so now I'm completely clueless...
The specimen appears to be a female Brown anole (Anolis sagrei).
