Interested in getting a Jungle Carpet Python. I've noticed only a few animals from '06, so I was wondering about when all the '07 babies would be available. I'm asking this because I want to get a JCP but don't want to have to wait a long time to get it. Thanks a lot.

Well...Usually most breeders start hatching out babies in April, May, and June....Some breeders wait up to several months after the babies hatch to make sure hatchlings are feeding well, and are doing good...so your looking at minimum Late May, early June before babies will be ready to go....

We have a Clutch of Jungle Carpet Eggs cooking now.....Should hatch around the last week of April, and we won't let any of them go till they have had at least 5 meals in them...so for us we won't be letting them go till June...

Best of luck picking one out...And just know...All Jungle Carpet Hatchlings are pretty plain jane...it takes up to a year or more for thier Yellow coloration to come in...But you probably already know that...

Geography may play a small part...
Being in the south, we have to wait for cool enough weather to cycle animals, whearas those up north can begin cycling as much as 3-4 months before us.

People will start having hatchies w/in the next few weeks, but we don't even have eggs on the ground (we are still waiting on pre lay sheds in some cases).

(Psst....I don't know if Dave and Amanda have a waiting list or not, but I would strongly encourage getting on it if they do have one- they are going to hatch some smokers! )

I have an 06 female Jungle in the classifieds at the moment if you can't wait.

I HIGHLY recomend Bens Jungle, like you said if you can't wait, and want an Awsome Jungle now...Can't beat it, well started 06, Already smokin yellow and should only keep getting nicer...

Ben is right...I forgot many breeders are still expecting eggs to drop...We got a jump start on breeding season this year, Our Jungle Clutch was laid begining of March....

Thanks for the compliment Ben...But Good things come to those who wait ehhh ...Your Jungle Pairing for this year is HOTTER than mine..
