I just suggested using imitators or intermedius for your paludarium, but this is even better, especially after you add the Neoregelias. While I have no personal experience with the vents, they should do equally as well in there. A group of 4 of any one of these species should put on a pretty good show for you if you luck out and get at least one pair among them. Another consideration would be D. fantasticus, although these are more difficult to find and tend to be rather expensive.
While I like the D. reticulatus, I've found them less adaptable to groups, and all but a single pair will seem to just "disappear" over time. Other people have reported this problem, as well. Mine have always spent more time on the open ground than other thumbs although of course, they do climb.
While more in the "obligate egg layer" category, and very territorial, a pair of pumilios would like this arrangement, as well. The problem here is their relative expense, sexing and pairing them up, which can be a bit tricky. Otherwise, they actually aren't any more "delicate" than the thumbs.
You certainly build some nice vivs.
