One of my females just gave birth to a litter a few days ago, and I was thinking about trying to "bottle" feed some for a few mins a day so that they get use to human contact and have a nicer disposition. I was wondering if anyone else has tried something(and worked to any level). What do people think about trying this?

I woudn't bother trying to feed them if they have a nursing mother, but you CAN try just handling them daily for increasing amounts of time each day. As pinks, keep it limited to a short time away from the nest and try for more as they srart moving around on their own.

I tried this with my first litter, and had limited success until they git hopper size and they would have none of it any more. They would leap away no matter where or how high thy were falling from.

I gave it up as a lost cause.

I have noticed that for some reason only the original purchased ones try to bite me much, and none of those I raised here. I don't handle them at all any more other than cleaning/culling days and briefly when I need to get out a live feeder for my BP.
