Will cleaning out my male leos cage her latley I have let him run around my bed, well about a week ago I had my female out two (She is almost 60grams) and I noticed that he was trying to mate, but I stopped it. Ever since then he wont really eat and he just mops around all day. His stool is normal and all. Well today I had them out again and he shook his tail and was so excited he even tried to nip at her tail; is that normal I knew they bite the necks but the tail? He tried and showed off but she aint having it at all. She just runs or nips at him back. I seperated them but should I and is the nipping normal behavior?

its very normal. hell grab her by the tail and if she dont resist he will get her by the neck and do his thing. mine does it all the time. mine male is going thru a phase like yours. hes been in with the females for quite awhile and now that hes on his own hes not eating as much and wanting out all the time. I notice hes goten a little better the last few days and has had no weight loss. whenever i try to feed him by hand like my females he just wants to crawl up on it and wont get interested in food.

Thanks, for that info. Poor guy just wants some lovin' and she aint havin it. I wish he would start eating better, he isnt really losing a lot of weight and he stool is normal still, what men do for love lol.
