And YES, all my snakes now have names. My kids were asking me a while back why the BRB's had names and none of the BCI's did. So, I came up with names. Some are duplicated from the BRBs like Amber, Ann/Anne, Ruby, Crystal.....so sue me. Some of the names came easy like Jasmine for my Arabesque Albino and Bing/Van/Stella and Anne for the "Cherry" salmons. For a bunch I used an idea that came from discussions with Aubrey about candy names. So Hershey, Toffee, Skittles etc.

If you pay close attention to the names, within the subspecies and gender, for the most part, each name has unique first two letters. This was done so I can use a shorthand naming process for the babies like SA-PO-01 = SAvannah x POrky baby number 1.

There are some duplicates like Molly and Morticia where there already was a two digit in place and still wanted a specific name. Just like the state abbreviations, they don't all follow the first two letters. So Molly = MO and Morticia = MR.

Thanks for looking and comments always welcome.

Great pics! I always liked naming my animals. Although my list is no where as large as yours.

Thanks, Definitely gets harder to think up more names as I get more snakes. Don't forget I also have 48 BRB's all with names as well. I do find it better for me to have a name to call them by. They don't care, I do! I do talk to my snakes as I handle them or clean up after them etc. I feel it does help keep them tame and used to hearing my voice associated with handling.

Could I be wrong....sure, happens all the time

That summit salmon is crazy. It doesn't even look real. That is one of my all time favorite boas I have seen posted here. Do you know what you are going to breed him too?

Those corals are killer too. I would be shocked if your possible jungle salmon does not prove out. Awesome collection!

Tell me about it, I get to see him in person every day. Funny thing is I attempted to breed him this year and he would have nothing to do with it. never sexed him myself so maybe he's a she? Either way, still a great snake and will be bred to a number of things. Can you say summit albino motley (in two generations) and/or bred into the cherry salmons. A component of coral sunglows.... the list goes on and on

I'm fairly sure the supersalmon pos jungle is a jungle. The other two males ????? Time will tell!

Thanks Frank!!! Damn this is so much fun, seeing these grow up and figuring out where to take it next!! Who to mate with who, wht the expected outcomes would be etc. I've just about reached the top of the first big rise on the roller coaster. Anticipating the ride, next few years will be insane!!

Yeah, I can't believe it either. Several times I've been in the same place, someone parting with a gorgeous animal. Gotta keep your eyes open and be ready to jump when the time comes. More often then not, it's just dumb luck. Damn I love being dumb!!
