wow he is beautiful, is he full grown? That is alot of red. I thought mine had alot of red but they are polka dots, this one almost has red bands. Won't it be great when someone hatches a totally red baby.....THAT WOULD BE COOL.

Her name is Venus. I am breeding her to my WC male named Cupid.
They have mated several times that I have seen in the last week so I hope I get eggs soon.
I know this is a bit off topic, but....I heard once that day geckos can "roll" out of their skin causing death.....any truth to this?

Matt
Their skin tears easily as a defense against predators.
They don't lose all their skin just pieces and it grows back really quickly. Often my females lose a small patch where the male grabs their neck while mating. It grows back in less than a months time.
