i was curious as to whom here has veggie eating herps and who makes their own garden in the summer to feed them, and what they plant? just curious, looking for some ideas

I got bearded dragons, and last year I did watermelon, strawberry(but it died), collard greens, gourds(for bird houses), and chilies(for my mom). I don't think you can feed gourds to animals, but I REALLY don't know. If they grow in wild, something must be eating them.

thanks for the reply, i did get some baby sugar watermelon seeds so i am going to try those,

Watermelon is just that....a lot of water

I plant collard, kale, spinach, (let the dandelions have the yard) as well as beans and peas and summer and winter squashes. Probably half of it all goes to the beasties.

Well yeah its water, it is a good treat for the tort, and my girlfreind. collards is defiantly on my list to find.
