The colouration on the normal stripe-mot is awesome. Great contrast.
Have any updated pics of this one?
Thanks for sharing the pics.

unfortunately I sold all those babies, even worse I sold the adults to most of babies in the photos I have a few of the Amel Mots left and the rest is gone. I wish I had some of them back in retrospect but I made somegood moves and have some nice Lavender/butter morphs goinf this year. Thanks for the owrds Joe.

dartboy May 21, 2003 03:48 PM

Which morphs are these and how much are they worth????? Think they're kinda expensive, because of their look! They look fantastic!

Cheers,

bhali May 21, 2003 05:53 PM

what were the parents to get all those great morphs?

Newbie question

What color phase corn is the red/orange one without the black?

mike_panic May 22, 2003 06:48 AM

I thin you are referring to the light Amel(albino). She was from a Blizzard mother and a supposedly Blizzard het father. Just never worked out because I never got Blizzards from the clutch. I got some of the nicest Amels I have ever seen, but I didnt hold any of them back so I have no idea what they looked like. Thanks. Mike

Marcel Poots May 22, 2003 12:38 AM

Wow Mike,

That baby in the middle. IS that a normal Amel? It looks like a partial snow and partial Amel. Did you keep that one?

were you talking about the baby just popping out of the egg? those were Amel motleys so I think thats why the head looks lighter than normal. Out of all of those babies, I did manage to keep a trio of those. I'll take a few recent shots of them for comparison. Thanks Marcel

The one in the middle with the 'snow' appearance with orange glow or orange spots that should be saddles. Very special animal

Marcel, that was one of the biggest and most pleasant surprise of last season. They hatched from an amazing Albino Okattee pair that I got from Mike Shiver. They popped out snows that looked completely different than any I had hatched out. I think I must have hatched out at least 75 snows last year but the snows from this clutch looked way different. I contacted Mike and asked him about the unexpected snows. He told me that he thinks they came from Kathy Love originally and the line is known to throw off snows(het for Anery) He said the snows dont look normal but more like SNOW OKATTEES, so they were calling them SNOKATTEES! LOL I guess for a lack of a better term. The bad news is, because of my "re-focus" as I like to call it, I sold the whole clutch. the goods news is, those adults are the only ones I kept when I sold off my adult collection last season. The female is twice the size this year and looks as gravid as can be. I think these guys are special so I will be holding the whole clutch back at least for ten months or so to see what they turn out to look like. Some of the Reverse babies that hatched out, looked like snows except they had like one or two red saddles and thats it. Pretty weird. I spoke to Kathy who was generous enough to do a Long Island Herp meeting seminar and she suggested I should have held them back because they may have turned out pretty super. I'll send a photo of the father, and I have some different shots of the clutch which shows different angles. Thanks alot This is DAD

mike_panic May 22, 2003 09:23 AM

here are some other shots of the clutch, which wasnt too big by the way. And I think two shots of a few of the more redder babies a couple of months after wards before I sold them Thanks again. Sorry for the long posts I do not know how do do multiple photos in one post. Mike Panichi

Looks like someone needs to get the knack of posting multiple pictures in one post.

Kingsnake even made it easier, all you have to do is:

[ img ]www.myserver.com/snakepicture[ /img ] Thats it. And to put lots of pictures, just put a whole bunch of those together.

Instead of posting every single picture separately, have you tried Kingsnakes simplified html for posting multiple pictures in a single post?

They even made it easier this go around, all you have to type is:

[ img ]www.myserver.com/picturename.jpg[ /img ] (In order for this to display, I had to put spaces between the brackets and the img and /img. To make it work, just put them together with no spaces.

And you can put as many as you want in a post, so you don't have to do a new post for each picture you want to display, which saves time and the hassle. Hope this helps. =)

Example:
