I tried rodentpro.com, but the total shipping and handling came out to $25 for a $6 bag of frozen chicks. I'm feeling frustrated because I can't find them anywhere in the area, and I even work in a pet store. Any help would be great.

reptile shows. Click on the link EVENTS at the top of this page to get a list of shows in your area (hopefully). Just make sure to get the phone numbers or business cards of feeder vendors and call before you go, so they can have frozen chicks for you.

Oh, cool idea! Thanks!
Looks like there's one near me this weekend!

Call your local feed shop. Sometimes they sell live chicks. You will have to freeze what you don't need right now, but at least you won't have to pay shipping.
BTW- By feed shop, I'm talking about the rural shops that sell ag supplies and feed. They are also a good source for Mazuri rodent blocks provided they are Purina deelers.
