My black roughneck is having that ever-so-common dry skin issue, and I'm looking for anyone with any real advice on things they've done to combat it.
Thanks!

I simply gave mine deep leaf litter.
I wet the first bag and dumped the other 2 bags on top of the wet stuff.
Helps keep the humidity high too.

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
Hello,
In most cases this is a humidity problem that can be remedied by not using a screen top. If this is not the source of the problem in your case, increase the ground moisture level within the enclosure. This coupled with the high temps and proper diet should remedy the problem... best to you-Mike
I have had good results from working with that 'snake oil' product for animals we get in that are extremely dry. It's just a mixture of various natural oils but wow it really seems to work wonders for their skin and as a shedding aid for those tough spots.

Snake oil product? Sounds interesting; I haven't heard of it before. Do you know who makes it?
