when off feed...

baby_ball Apr 11, 2007 06:32 AM

do your balls stay hidden? My '05 ball has been off feed since early January. Before this she would come out and cruise at night but since she has been off feed she stays curled up in her hide. I know she could come out when I'm not looking but I was just wondering if they move less when not eating to conserve fat resources? I think this is a female but haven't had her probed to be sure.

Thanks!

I have two that did that they would stay in one spot, Other than getting some water, they didnt move much. But then I had three others that moved alot still would not eat but were way more active. It depends on the snake I guess..

I got her out last night for a bit. I've been trying not to bother her too much since she is staying hidden. Once out she was just as active and curious as ever. She even got to meet the new four legged members of the family! I was scared but it went very well.

Thanks for the replies!
