Specifically I was wondering if a retic would be able to cohabitate with a similar size burmese python? Will one of them attempt to kill the other, will they get along, etc.? Thanks for your help.

Keeping Boids together is not recommended for several reasons, health reasons, territorial reasons, ease of maintenance, If you can't afford to house them separately pic one or the other, feeding is problematic even if you separate them, both dangerous for you and them, they will often attack each other due to the smell of the fodder, all around it is in your and the snakes best interest to house them separately. But under ordinary circumstances they won't bother each other, problem is, ordinary circumstances do not stay ordinary 24/7.
