A modest suggestion-in light of recent info, why not set a time when as many of us as possible can meet online-perhaps in a KS chat room? I think we know enough now to start dropping monkey wrenches into machinery.

Welcome to kingsnake.com's message board system. Here you may share and discuss information with others about your favorite reptile and amphibian related topics such as care and feeding, caging requirements, permits and licenses, and more. Launched in 1997, the kingsnake.com message board system is one of the oldest and largest systems on the internet.

If TPWD is supposed to remain neutral and they didn't maybe we can get some heads to roll........................
I pretty much let it all hang out here anyway... But I would bet that this weekend would have the most free people in an open forum on this topic.
I still say we get in touch with an attorney and explore a possible class action suit. Not seeking settlement, but seeking to halt this thing in its dirty little footprints. And if we can make the backers of this look like idiots along the way, that is all the better.

I would donate $100 or $200 to getting a qualified attorney involved. I think everybody here should be willing to donate at least the cost of the hunting license you normally buy.
We need to find somebody to evaluate and file, then we will talk about passing the Hat..
Maybe one of our KS.com admins will set up a fund we can all chip into. If any is left over it can be donated to a zoo or something...
But first we need the attorney to figure out a cost... It may not be cheap?
I would be willing to go that much. Clark
Again, if it comes to that, my $$ is in. I do think that a settlement of some kind should be put in there, the lawyer would need to be paid, and any $$ won in a settlement could purchase land to hunt on/preserve habitat.
