I just wanted to post a update. I have received my fans from yesmicro, and I am testing one right now. One thing I want to point out over the sleve fans, is that this fan takes more power to get started so it will need to be run at a higher speed. Should not be a problem, but might have to cut off some air flow to keep the humidity right. At least on a 15gal high. Right now I am running at 6v 300ma, and have about 1/3 the fan over the vent in the top. My humidity is at 93% and stable. I will try to get it a little higher, and then lock the fan in place. I am also going to try one of these fans on my Leuc tank, which is a 20gal high. I will post my findings with that tomorrow. My current fan on that tank is too big and I can only run it about 5 mins an hour to keep the humidity right. But it is a 80mm fan that moves a ton of air.
So far these 40mm antec fans from yesmicro are nice, and very quiet too.
