She looks awesome. I had a Southern Pine, when I was about 10, that was up around 6 feet. I just felt like telling you, you might want to move those weights a little closer to the middle of the lid the bigger she gets. The latches keep the ends secure. The very middle is actually the most vulnerable spot on those boxes. I used a lot of them. Not sure if you already know that, or not. Just wouldn't wanna see her escape.

I haven't had any pits for about 5 years now. I've been looking through the classifieds for a new one, but it seems like no good pines are available. I'd love to just have a nice looking normal Southern like that one. I don't need a morph. They're such awesome snakes. I remember how strong they are when they're big. Just wanted to remind you. Good luck with them.

Thanks for the heads up on the lid! I figured I would have to experiment with those lids. I know exactly what your talking about wanting just a regular nice normal patterned animal.

I can't wait to breed these guys. They get nicer with each shed and are completely gentle, they're starting to develop some pinkish and cream colored hues along the sides. Really pretty snakes!!! Not a pit pic,but shes my favorite snake. Kevin
