Do you guys think Pied cross well with other morphs? I think the way the Pied pattern is all swirl-like, it sometimes kills the pattern of the other trait. Like a Pied X Clown? All that work, and will you really notice the clown traits that much? Or a Pied X Albino - are you going to notice the Albino that much?

Also, by nature (and because they are worth more with less pattern) you want more white and less pattern.

Maybe if you cross them with a Co-Dom and then make a super...

I dont know.....

I'm hoping the pied-super black pastel will be simply black and white. That...would be awesome.

A few people have already produced albinoXPied they are amazing. I dont know i love the piebald and want to see as many diferent crosses as we can im looking forward to axanthic piebald (im a big axanthic fan also) and some Piebald Caramel Albinos Piebald Super Cinny would be sick also.

I think JUST ABOUT anything can cross with a Pied and look pretty stinkin awesome!! It all boils down to personal opinions though..what you like and what you don't like.

I really like the lower-white Pieds - with no more than fifty percent white. That said, I think mixing in the other morphs will make the patterned areas even more awesome. So far I have hets for Pied, Caramel, Orange Ghost and Albino to throw in the mix. Jim

Since this thread is on pied crosses. I would have to agree that just about anything crossed with them should look good. Also I just checked the females and removed my albino off the seven eggs she just laid. She was bred to my pied male.

I myself dont think most morph patterns combine well with the Pied's pattern.

How do you try and make something unique, when NO TWO are the same to begin with?

What I'm trying to say is...

A Pied is a Pied...its PERFECT...leave it alone..any more would be too much.

You dont need to add a hood scoop to a 67 Vet...leave it alone.

But I respect everyone elses opinion.

I do agree that they are great and unique individually. Always been one of my favorites. But have you seen the pied X spider? And the super cinny/black pastel X pied should be nice too. However, it may look like a legless cow.
