A new rack for Tiny's babies!!

danktat Apr 11, 2007 08:10 PM

Well I got my Animal Plastics EP Hatchling rack in today and put it together . This is technically not yet on the market but Mark was kind enough to hook up a "semi-custom" set up for what I needed. If I am not mistaken this is only the second one of these ever produced. The rack is for this girl's babies.

This was surprisingly easy to put together and the tubs fit flawlessly. Here was the process......

Fitting the first couple of peices.

All of the shelves in.

Threading the heat rope.

Tubs added.

Using a Spyder Robotics Herpstat for control.

The name I stick with.

Now lets just hope there are plenty of babies to fill this rack come May.

Thanks again Mark

You might need 3 of those racks. Hope she does good for you.

But a 6ft 11 pound BCC I don't expect more than a small litter (I hope I am wrong )

Nice looking rack you got there Dank.

If you don't mind me asking, how much does something like that run? PM me if you like.

Also, how long did it take to get in and how do you like the Heat Rope option? I may have to get me one of those.

Take care,

The heat rope option (along with the customer service) is one of the main reasons I like the Animal Plastics line of caging. I find it to be a bit more consistant than Flexwatt (even though Flexwatt will cover more area. The heat rope is recessed into the caging (and racks) to allow for easy stacking without pinching anything in between cages.

As far as pricing....I was told to keep that under wraps as this line of hatchling racks isn't on the market yet. I am sure if you shoot Mark an email or give him a call he would be willing to work something out (he did for me )

Strange, I bought the same rack about a 4 months ago from them. I use it for my southwestern ratsnakes.

As of now this is the only one of this series "officially" on the market.

animalplastics.com/Sterilite/EP.html

That is the only one offered on his site right now from that series. (not the same rack)

I'm sure he'll make you one ,and if not let me know let me know so I won't do business with them with them in the future...They have some fine baby racks at RB and up here at cool critters.
