Question about Abbotts okeetee origins

railrider1920 Apr 11, 2007 10:11 PM

If I remember correctly, they are named so because of the man that originally bred them to look the way they do.

Does anyone know the mans first name? Does he have a website? Does anyone have any contact info for him?
Thanks,
Rob

Okeetees originally came from the hunt club area in South Carolina of the same name. I may be wrong but i believe that Abbotts line came from Kathy Love stock. The man you are talking about is Lee Abbott his website is leesokeetees.com
