I have identified, captured and released on my ranch in East TX the grey tree, green, bronze, bull, pickerel, chorus, leopard frogs, fowlers, woodhouse toads, and one more that escapes me. They breed all winter down here. I have a natural decline pond-1-2 foot on my property that produces tadpoles from December to May. It is natural and void of pesticides or other problems- except the Cottonmouths and western ribbon snakes that eat them. That is natural, expected and allowed.
