Does anyone have the time and resources to compile a mailing list of west Texas hotels and retailers, especially with the owners names?
I'd like to send out a few dozen letters but only have a few addresses and even fewer owners names.
Welcome to kingsnake.com's message board system. He is in the office Carl Isett, they support this bill.
Just oppose it with a no...
Some reasons that can be expanded:
1 - To broad giving TP&W too much discretion (for example searching a vehicle for violations just because you are on a public roadway)
2 - To broad, if your kid is at a picnic area / rest stop and decides to chase a lizard they are in violation of this law.
3 - Will impact the resources of education institutions to learn more about native wildlife based on data collect on animals on the right of way (live or dead, I do not think it will matter)
4 - Will impact the tourist dollars to places where it is popular to hunt for reptiles
5 - Will limit the out of state revenue brought in yearly by out of state hunters
And any more good suggestions would be appreciated…. But remember everybody call every day, and give your cell phone to anybody else willing to call and oppose this with you. The more names the better…. And if anybody is in his district call twice as much and get twice as many other people.
