Feeding question..

shannons008 Apr 12, 2007 03:04 PM

My gecko has a pretty bad case of mouth rot. I have some antibiotics and things to try to help it out. I'm also going to be squishing up mealworms so I can feed it with a syringe.

Would adding something like pedialyte be bad? This may be a pretty dumb question. But since it hasn't eaten for awhile I wasn't sure if something along those lines would really do anything. And is there anything else I could add in?
Thanks.

pedialyte or however you spell that would be fine. just try to get something that is plain and not fruit flavored or at least as plain as you can find. also i have used ensure (for old people) the vanilla flavor and it works great! you can also use beef, chicken, or turkey, baby food. if you use that you can mix in your reptile vitamin and calcium suppliments but the ensure already has all that stuff in it thats why i use it over babyfood.
