A FEW MORE HONDURANS

don shores Apr 12, 2007 07:11 PM

These are a few hondurans I have received in the last few months. I'm not sure what they will go for in the future but I really like them.

Thanks Steve. I am trying to get a good group going.

antr1 Apr 12, 2007 08:03 PM

Don,
Thats funny, I thought you already had a good group!!
They look great, good luck with themm and I'm sure you'll hear from me when they begin to reproduce!!

don shores Apr 12, 2007 08:54 PM

Thanks, I've had one pair of adults already hook up so I should get some reverse albino babies this year.

don shores Apr 12, 2007 07:16 PM

Here's just a couple more pics. Thanks for looking.

don shores Apr 12, 2007 07:18 PM

Just another picture.

best tang albino I have ever seen. I love those wide bands.

Best,
Vinny

Thanks Vinny.

don shores Apr 13, 2007 08:59 PM

Vinny, here are a few hondurans I was really happy to get this year. The tri-colored extreme came from a pair of tangerine hypos that have produced extremes in the past. He's not quite as light as Shannon Browns but he has the red eyes and grey bands. The vanishing extreme hypo female came from Mike Falcon and the Patternless hypo came from Rodney JTineant. I have been very fortunate in the last 6 months getting these animals.

VicsVariables Apr 14, 2007 02:37 AM

Don, those are stunning animals. Let me know when you get tired of them....lol.

vjl4 Apr 14, 2007 12:30 PM

Those are great. I really like that tricolor (I think tricolor hypos are my favorite hondo morph). It would be sweet to get a vanishing tricolor like those tangerines.

Best

Thanks Vinny. I would really like a tri-colored patternless like that tangerine but I haven't seen one yet. I'm sure it will happen. Here's a pair of aberrant hypos I will breed this year along with an aberrant normal. Take care, Don

Looks like a painted sculpture. Love the narrow white bands. Amazing.

Hi Don,

Those are very nice!

Joe Exposito

don shores Apr 12, 2007 11:03 PM

Thanks Joe. It seems hard trying to stay ahead of the game. Here's a hybino male.

Jeff Hardwick Apr 12, 2007 09:27 PM

Hiya Don!
Those Hondos are really different-are they from Holland? Did you get some of Jaap's bizarre tri-color hypo stuff? Any pics to post of the hypo tri-colors??
Hope all is well w/you...Jeff

don shores Apr 12, 2007 11:08 PM

I did get some of Jaaps animals but someone else got the adult hypos. They were a little too much for my blood. Here is a pair I have of his from last year.

vjl4 Apr 13, 2007 10:12 AM

Jaap had some awesome tricolor hypos. Those two above are great. I picked up some myself this year. It turns out just in time....

Jaap did have some nice tri-colored hypos. Here are the ones I have and one of the ones I wish I had. The vanishing adult is the nicest but I couldn't afford it. His adults are here for 3 more days then they get shipped to a guy in Maryland.

vjl4 Apr 14, 2007 12:32 PM

Yeah, Jaap had mentioned that he was getting ride of them. They were to rich for my blood as well. I am happy with my little hatchlings though.

Thanks Mike, the first one is every bit as nice but she was in shed so I didn't get a good picture of her. She probably is a little nicer then the second one.

don shores Apr 16, 2007 04:02 PM

Yeah Mike, I was fortunate to get her. I will get a pic of the first female after she sheds. She is as nice or nicer then the second and almost big enough to breed. Here's two of my adult male breeders. Don

don shores Apr 17, 2007 06:31 PM

Mike, here are a few more pics of the reverse tangerine albino.
