About a month ago now, my komodo dragon passed away. My Komodo was part of the adoption program at St. Louis Zoo, he was all mine(well, not really)for one year(a really cool present, courtesy of my girlfriend). I like to remember the brief time we spent together on my trip to St. Louis....me...looking at him through the glass....him not paying any attention to me and basking as all lizards do....it was special.

I grew up in St. Louis and I have always loved their zoo, and it's FREE!!! Their "Zoo parent" adoption program is really great and can be done all through the computer. From what I understand the Komodo got sick really fast, before they could bother treating it. It was so big and healthy the last time we saw it..... *cries* The zoo also has a full grown croc, some griesus, black tree, etc etc. I could spend hours just in the reptarium.

My point, if you all get the chance to go to the St. Louis Zoo, do it. It won't cost you a damn thing.
