Roy, I was wondering, you are already in the public eye in Sanderson, so to speak, how about a well thought out interview on the local tv news network? I know some people had planned a trip in May but I wonder how many people come in April for the first of the season? The dark of the moon approaches. Maybe soon would be a good time to show up in mass, so to speak, maybe get a shot of the not so crazy folks enjoying a legal past time. If it were done right, it could educate and get the message out to local business owners, plus put this thing in the spotlight. Troy, you live close, what about you and your dad? Field herping done right, so to speak. Won't get much time, but could stir the pot enough the right way to season this stew correctly. I don't know what more I can do, just brainstorming. Maybe get a herp club or two to sponser a trip. Then the public sees students, people of all ages, from all walks of life enjoying herping as a way of life, showing comeraderie, sharing meals in local restaurants, staying at local hotels or State Parks. Buying gas, etc. Just a thought, plus I wanna be on t.v.!!!LOL!
