Bateater Q

tailswithscales Apr 13, 2007 10:33 AM

I was wondering what the temperament on the Bateaters was?

I decided to breed my male dwarf retic to my big female burm. If there is resulting offspring I was thinking of keeping a male to breed to my Jampea or another Bateater. I have not fully decided but I wanted to breed my female Burm and my only available male was my Retic. If the breeding doesn't happen then no worries.

Thank you all

In my experience bateaters are just as calm and easy going as any docile burm or tic. They tend to have terrific feeding responses but tend to be less "flighty" than typical tics. You shouldn't have any issues with bad dispositions.

Good Luck!
