I have looked at some of the other forums here on Kingsnake. I do not see the attention to the issue of HB2414 given in those forums. They have the same potential for loss of rights as those of us that frequent this forum. I recommend that anyone that has friends that frequent any of the other forums, notify them of this issue so they can get involved. We all know that this law would affect any herper or enthusiast for any kind of reptile or amphibian found on Texas road right of ways.

Be wary, contact the people you know, many will side against us, as they believe captive bred animals are the way to go without realizing the source of c.b. animals. Some people just don't get it. My .02

I dropped a post on both the pit & rat snake forums a week or so ago - from what I've seen, no interest. Not whinning, but I would have thought they would be interested.
My impression is they never get out much except the fieldnotes forum
