Worth fighting for

brhaco Apr 13, 2007 08:51 PM

My head has been buzzing this week with so much turmoil I've hardly been able to sleep. So I decided to head south to the Brush Country to remind myself why it's worthwhile to fight for our rights. Good movement-kept this guy to increase the genetic diversity of my annulata colony. But the point is-I saw 14 other snakes of various species, which were ALL photographed and released!

take care

That animal looks like you plugged into a light socket...

Beautiful! I'm about to start my snake "collection" back up soon, probably starting with one of these beauties - I hope I can find an awesome one as this...

And it is really worth fighting this so as we can keep everything diverse enough not to inbreed!...

But please remember Brad, even if you did not photograph and release them, IT WOULD BE YOUR RIGHT TO KEEP THEM!!! I think we are getting a little too crazy with this "fishing show" of catch and release. I think all of this hype is making all of us too crazy. If you have a license (hunting as well as the non game permit) do not feel like you HAVE to just photograph and release, unless of course that is all you want to do. See ya.
