I ate some grub and have some energy. My Rep. Joe Pickett is a "NO" vote on HB 2414. So if we also have Rep. Mark Gallego then we have two "NO" votes. All other TX residents on this forum need to contact their Reps and covince them to be a "NO" vote. Add names as we go. Organization...? HHhhhhmmmmmm novel idea!

He will be hard to sway, it is a long story and do not want to make myself or anybody else liable by posting rumors and off the record stuff with other reps offices. After all, let's just say it is his bill, he wrote it and gave it to committee.
But on the plus side, he is the only rep that responded in strong support of this legislation. We need to back his other supporters down before he can admit defeat. All these people that have not decided need to be convinced that HB 2414 is a bad piece of legislation as it is currently written.
